Off The Shoulder Tops

I think we all started seeing this trend a while ago, but now it’s become a must have! I am obsessed with this trend, it’s flirty and demure, showing *just enough* skin. While I love the look, it can be difficult to pull off. Because many of these tops are flowing and wide, it is best to pair them with a slim fitting bottom. I recently learned a little trick for off the shoulder – try twisting and tucking one of the front sides into your bottoms, ideally revealing a belt and creating more of an hourglass figure.

One problem I have noticed with off the shoulder tops is that they can easily bounce upwards and turn into a cap sleeved shirt. (Blah!) With this being said, it’s important to find a top that is tight and/or thicker where it gathers so that is stays in place all day. Or go for one with separate sleeves so that it doesn’t slide all over the place.

What do you think of this trend? Let me know in the comments!

    • Hi there! While typically ladies are told to stray away from tops that widen the shoulders, I suggest wearing the top higher at your shoulder as to not reveal as much skin. I would also play around with a large belt at the waist and a long chain necklace to draw the eye to your smallest part! Good luck and let me know how it works out!
