Shopping Locally

Today I went to downtown Wakefield to pass out business cards and of course did a little shopping! I picked up an adorable wool panama hat from Velvet Revolution and a leather wrap bracelet with an optional charm I’ve been keeping my eye on from The Purple Cow Company.ย

Recently I’ve been opting to purchase more accessories and less clothing. I find I don’t always LOVE all of the clothes I buy and they end up hanging around in my closet for ages unworn. (Sad face). Accessories are also a fun and easy way to dress up an outfit or make it more casual. I personally like to mix and match casual and edgy styles with feminine details for my daily looks.

I love to shop local when I can in order to support small businesses and the economy. It also supports the community, reduces environmental impact, creates jobs and of course the service is phenomenal! Shopping locally is also a great way to find unique items that aren’t available at chain or department stores.
