Dressing with a bohemian style offers a relaxed fit with flowy shapes, feminine patterns and cuts. Normally this is not my style and never has been. I’ve tried and tried because I love the look on other people, just not me. Something about the loose fit doesn’t flatter me and it can be a bit too casual for my taste.
Finally, I have figured out how to make this style my own! I paired my Free People dress with tights and velvet Public Desire boots. The velvet boots and long necklace made this outfit less casual while the tights gave me added security from any Marilyn Monroe style catastrophes.
If flowing shapes don’t flatter you but you love the boho look, try finding something that cinches at the waist or add a belt!
This light dress is perfect for the summer or can be layered in colder months. What do you think of boho? Let me know in the comments!
