gallery Gunas New York Guilt-Free Fashion

Fast fashion has an impact on the environment, from putting chemicals and harmful dyes into clothing, to dangerous sweatshops, enabling animal cruelty, and overflowing landfills that seep toxins into our air. While I do love a good bargain here and there, I am honestly trying to limit how much I buy, focusing on quantity over quality. Being a fashion blogger this can make things especially difficult, but I am slowly making a change for the best!

Cottontail – $189.00
from: GUNAS New York

That’s why I love Gunas New York, their handbags and shoes are 100% free of animal by-product, which means there’s no leather, silk, fur, wool, cashmere, or down feathers. So, how do they create a quality product? They use coated canvases, nylons, eco-polyurethane, ultra-leather, ultra-suede and up-cycled polyester for linings. The hardware is even made from recycled materials!

Rebel – $249.00
from: GUNAS New York

Besides being vegan, Gunas is ethically responsible, providing sweat-shop free working environments in the USA, India, South Korea, Mexico, and Italy, which also means fair jobs. I am slowly going animal free and this is something I’m passionate about. I’ve written numerous papers on the subject and am so pleased to have the opportunity to be involved with Gunas New York!

Hermit – $250.00
from: GUNAS New York

They also offer FREE shipping on orders over $150. Such a deal.
