gallery Blogger Secrets Revealed

I’ve been asked a few times how I make my website so organized and professional looking (thank you!) and how I obtain followers on Instagram (double thank you!). There’s a few easy steps that can help you achieve these goals.

  1. Your theme is everything. WordPress.com makes this ridiculously easy for beginners. When I was creating my site I Googled everything and watched probably a million YouTube videos explaining what I didn’t understand. If you take everything one step at a time and learn what you need to instead of rushing through it, your blogging life will be easier in the long run. I searched for a fashion magazine theme on WordPress because that’s what I like – clean, crisp and organized. There’s always room for improvement too so don’t be afraid to change up your website once in a while!
  2. Engage, engage, engage! No I’m not kidding. When I first read this about Instagram I was like okay.. blah blah blah, whats the actual secret? Seriously, it’s engagement. I’ve been told to engage at least 2 hours every day – liking, commenting, following. Instagram of course has it’s limits so don’t go crazy and hit the like button a million times or you will be blocked for 24 hours. I like to sit down when I can (if not daily) and engage with other users. If I can’t do it one day then I’ll engage for a few hours when I can, but consistency is key. Instagram users want genuine interactions and want to captivate their own followers – use this to your advantage.

  1. Engagement is the key! I actually spend 2 hours a day to just liking people post and pictures. I try to leave comment on people post and it really helps! But I have hard time gaining Instagram followers since they demand more high quality pictures and nicely organized layout.

  2. Hey,I do agree with the poitnts you’ve made above. As someone who has started blogging recently,I have noticed it to be the main driver of traffic to my page. The problem is though a lot of the likes and comments made on instagram and followers seem to be for users own gain as opposed to genuinely liking pictures so it really doesn’t give a true reflection of how good the content you’ve posted is.

    • I can see your point of view from that stand point. My engagement has definitely gone up on Instagram from engaging with other accounts in my niche and target market (I only like comment and follow what I truly love) but my content and flow has also grately improved. You have to keep in mind some accounts also buy followers and likes or use engagement groups so that will affect their numbers. Thanks for commenting! πŸ’•
